About Us

Julie, Nottingham born and bred, and with a catering and food love since school, passing her city and guilds exams in college straight after school, with her first set of knives bought especially for her by her Dad. 

Well two or three decades later and after a career in business that has seen her at the top of her game and eating many business lunches and buying many a child's birthday catering, she is now doing what she loves, and is the chief menu-planner, organiser, front face of The Banquet Buddy's.

Steve on the other hand, Southern counties born, is the chief taster, get in the wayer, and just does what he's told!

Between running our software and non-exec consultancy business, the small-holding we own, and keeping our Shepherds Hut full of guests, Steve helps out wherever he is needed.  

Over the years in our commercial business roles, we have seen so much that isn't great from caterers up and down the country. We know what good looks and tastes like, we know what you want for your event, and we strive to ensure you have the best food at the best prices available.
